A few people have mentioned in the past that it would be nice to hear updates from me from time to time instead of just seeing pictures without any accompanying text so here it goes! It might not last though. Over the last ten years I can’t remember the number of times I have tried to start a blog and have it fail after no more than a couple of weeks (usually less than a week!).

Last night I had quite a few vivid dreams. One of them involved meeting Tom Felton at a cinema and immediately hitting it off and becoming best mates. Another dream involved seeing Kenzie in a theatre. The third involved drowning, so that was not so good! I have a terrible fear of water anymore than about 30cm deep! On balance, the Tom Felton dream was the best one and if reality mimics the dream, he is an awesome person to be around and to have in your life!

Since the site was redeveloped last week the general consensus is that it is a great improvement over both previous layouts. I have had quite a few people ask me why I moved away from Blogger – and the answer is because I wasn’t comfortable being there. In the past they have deleted a number of sites like this without any warning. It is now hosted on my own VPS account which is backed up daily to a server on the other side of the world – so should anything happen to the site, at the very most only a days worth of posts would be lost. Incidentally, if anyone is after some hosting for their blog, get in touch with me.

I had one person email me to tell me the site is far slower than it used to be. I was quite surprised by this as many others have let me know that it is now much faster. I replied to the person who said it was slow to ask whereabouts they were accessing it from but I got no reply. So if anyone does find the site slow, please let me know – and from what part of the world it is slow from.
